Message from President

Sir Syed Ahmad Khan played a vital role in the advancement of education for backward and poor Muslim societies through his vision for model education and progressive thinking. His most notable achievement, the Aligarh Movement brought out a radical transformation in social, political, and economic aspects of the entire nation. His legacy of progress in education is what AMUOBA seeks to carry forward. We the Alumni of Aligarh Muslim University solely focus to persevere in our efforts to reform, educate and empower the community. We, the Indian diaspora in Riyadh have taken it upon ourselves to spread modem education and uplift our fellow brethren both in our work country, Saudi Arabia, and, simultaneously, provide support and various opportunities to the underprivileged back home in India.
We wish a very joyful Sir Syed Day to all Aligarians worldwide who bear the gift of knowledge and undertake the responsibility of fulfilling Sir Syed’s purpose and aspire to building a better world.
