We are pleased to inform you that AMUOBA, Riyadh will be organizing a series of inter-school competitions as a part of our Sir Syed Day Celebrations 2024. Sir Syed Day is a momentous occasion for us to honor the life and contributions of Sir Syed Ahmed Khan, the founder of Aligarh Muslim University, and his enduring legacy in education and social reform.
To commemorate this occasion, we are inviting your children’s to participate in the following competitions.
1. Essay Writing Competition
Topic: National Integration: Sir Syed’s Role in Promoting Communal Harmony in India
Eligibility: Grade X-XII (boys & girls) students.
Language: English & Urdu.
Word Limit: 1000 words
2. Quiz Competition
Subject Area: Indo-Islamic culture and current affairs
Language: English
Eligibility: Grade VII-X (boys & girls) students.
These competitions are designed to encourage students to engage in intellectual discourse, develop their writing skills, and enhance their general knowledge. Students’ participation will also offer them an excellent platform to showcase their talents and interact with their peers from different schools.

• Essay Competition (October 4, 2024, Time: 4.30-5.30 PM, Venue: Yaara International School, Riyadh, Registration Deadline: 03.10.2024).
• Quiz Competition (October 5, 2024, Time: 11.30-12.30 PM, Venue: Yaara International School, Riyadh, Registration Deadline: 03.10.2024).
All students participating in the above competitions will be awarded with a certificate of participation.
