We are delighted to share the resounding success of AMUOBA Riyadh’s event, ”Bridging Excellence: Corporate Connect with Aligarh Muslim University” held in Crown Plaza Riyadh Palace on 14th December’14 which aimed to establish meaningful connections between the corporate world of Saudi Arabia and Aligarh Muslim University to facilitate placement opportunities for AMU students in the Kingdom.
The event witnessed the impressive attendance of CEOs, HR professionals, and distinguished delegates from various renowned companies. The session commenced with a gracious welcome address by Dr. Inamullah Baig, President of AMUOBA Riyadh, setting the tone for this groundbreaking initiative.
Our esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Dinesh Setia, First Secretary (Information,Culture and Education) Indian Embassy, delivered a remarkable speech celebrating AMU’s rich legacy and its contribution to global academia and industries. The event was presided over by Mr. Rashid Ali Sheikh, Chairman of RS Infratech, who emphasized the importance of bridging the gap between academia and the corporate world.
The highlight of the event was an insightful and impactful presentation by Mr. Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer of AMU. He showcased the global achievements of AMU alumni, demonstrated the exceptional caliber of AMU students, and outlined the diverse sectors in which they can contribute. His session provided a comprehensive overview of AMU’s placement ecosystem and successfully addressed the queries of the corporate attendees regarding recruitment and collaboration opportunities.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mr. Abdul Khallaq, Vice President of AMUOBA Riyadh, who expressed gratitude to all attendees and contributors for making this event a grand success.
This initiative underscores AMUOBA Riyadh’s dedication to fostering corporate partnerships, showcasing the excellence of AMU students, and creating pathways for their success in the global job market.
